- To view the new pieces on display and for sale at Toronto’s Largest outdoor art show at Nathan Philips Square July 9,10 & 11
- This is the first public show that my work will be on display and for sale.

- 2010 Wood turners Guild Of Ontario annual Salon ( competition) was held in May.
- The guest Judge was world renown wood turner Bonnie Klein.
- Ron was fortunate to win a 1st place, a 2nd place,in the Bowl Platter Category,and 1st and 3rd place awards in the Innovative Category for 4 platters submitted in the Novice section. A 1st place and 2nd place was awarded for best in the overall Novice category.
- The judges have now demanded that Ron has to move up to a higher category for the next competition…as it was overheard “its becoming way to easy for Ron to win with his new found love for mixing and laminating exotic woods ! “
